Kris Aquino is currently in isolation due to her worsening immunity

QUEEN of all Media Kris Aquino will not give up on herself despite currently being in isolation due to her declining health. 

Last Sunday, Aquino shared a photo of herself in the operating room while having an ultrasound-guided PICC line insertion two weeks prior at the Makati Medical Center. 

“Exactly 2 weeks ago, i had an Ultrasound-guided PICC LINE INSERTION, the minimally invasive surgery was done in Makati Medical Center. I would like to thank everyone in MMC for their genuine concern for my safety & well-being while confined- from those in the OR, all the doctors & residents who were monitoring me, the nurses on the 9th floor, and the security team- MARAMING SALAMAT sa INYO!” Kris wrote in the caption.  

Aquino noted that she always tries to highlight the positive as having 6 autoimmune conditions is depressing. 

“Kahit gaano katapang ako, there are moments especially pag nagsabay sabay my unexplainable allergies, my lupus (rashes, fever like heat in my entire body, migraine) and rheumatoid arthritis flares (the worst, stabbing/crushing deep bone pain in my knees, hips, ankles) plus my high blood pressure (170/116); [I] ask myself KAYA KO PA BA,” she added. 

In the post, Kris Aquino came to reveal that she’s been in isolation due to her declining immunity. Aquino shared on how during her hospitalization, her WBC dropped. “ I also had a bad allergic reaction to the last antibiotic i could still tolerate. What did that mean- wala na kong panlaban sa kahit anong viral or bacterial infection. I’m now in isolation.” 

“So many rules for family & friends na gusto akong dalawin. Yes, it’s lonely,” she added. 

Kris disclosed having a colon cancer scare on October 20 of last year. She shared on how her mother, President Cory Aquino was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in March 2008 and that her grandmother had it too. 

She also confirmed a new relationship and denied reports of an outdoor wedding. In addition, Kris hinted at an upcoming show, stating it will debut before the year ends. 

Even if Aquino had found herself in hardships, Kris remains strong–refusing to disappoint everyone who is praying for her. 

“What keeps me going? I REFUSE TO DISAPPOINT ALL THOSE PRAYING FOR ME. Ayokong maisip nyo na binalewala ko yung time & effort ninyo. Because your compassion has deeply touched my heart. Kaya #bawalsumuko #tuloyanglaban,” Kris ended.
