She is the second Filipino actress to receive the prestigious award after Belle Mariano in 2022.
Bernardo was seen in a simple yet stunning gown designed by Filipino fashion designer Martin Bautista.
Her OOTD was also carefully organized by celebrity stylists Kimi Yap-Sy and Boop Yap-Tañedo.
“When I initially found out about this nomination and recognition for my craft by such an esteemed award-giving body, that in itself was already a win for me,” Bernardo said in her speech.
She then thanked her directors and co-workers in ‘’2 Good 2 Be True.’’
“Please allow me to thank our brilliant directors behind ‘2 Good 2 Be True’, Direk Mae Cruz-Alviar and Direk Paco Sta. Maria, to our writers headed by Ninang Mel, and to our brilliant co-actors Mr. Daniel Padilla and Mr. Ronaldo Valdez, and to the whole team behind ‘2 Good 2 Be True.’ I’d like to share this award with all of you.”

Bernardo also shared some of the show’s highlights regarding the portrayal of the struggles of people with Alzheimer’s disease.
“It’s always been more than just sharing a love story with our audience, but also spreading awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and educating people about those who struggle with it and how we can offer them the best support they need,” she said.
Bernardo shared the stage with Thai actor Gun Atthaphan, who was recognized for his role in the GMMTV drama ‘’Midnight Museum.’’
