WANDERLAND Music and Arts Festival is already preparing for its return next year, six months after it concluded its highly anticipated comeback in March.
Titled “Wanderland Neighborhood,” the music and arts festival is set to happen on March 9 and 10 at the Filinvest Concert Grounds in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
“Welcome to Wanderland Neighborhood[:] Home of good music and good people,” the organizers announced on X, along with an animated video that showed a character delivering newspapers about the forthcoming event.
On Monday, Wanderland hyped up festivalgoers by announcing the first 12 artists who will perform at the festival.
The ninth edition will be headlined by American singer-songwriter Jack Johnson, who is known for his chill, acoustic songs Better Together, Banana Pancakes, Upside Down, Sitting, Waiting, Wishing, and I Got You.
Johnson will open the first day of the festival, together with Australian electropop band Parcels, Welsh multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Novo Amor, South Korean rapper Beenzino, Filipina-Japanese pop artist ena mori, and Filipino alternative indie rock band bird.
The second day of the festival will see performances from Filipino-American singer-songwriter Jeff Bernat, Filipino-Australian singer-songwriter Grentperez, Taiwanese singer-guitarist CLOUDRIVER, Pinoy singer-songwriter Paolo Sandejas, Filipino rock band Party Pace, Bicolana singer-songwriter dwta.
A second wave of performers will be announced soon, said the organizers.
The annual festival was launched in the country in 2013 to celebrate music, art, and even food.
According to its website, the event will have a theme that is “hitting close to home’’ and attendees can expect to “enter a community” once they go to the festival.
Tickets for the forthcoming festival are now available at Wanderland Fest’s website.
Phase one tickets are available from September 20 to October 31 or until supplies last. This will be followed by phase two tickets from October 1 until October 31, phase three tickets from November 1 until December 31, and standard tickets from January 1 until March 10.
Early buyers will have the chance to purchase cheaper tickets because prices go up as the festival approaches.
Prices of phase one tickets range from P4,685 to P12,890; P5,400 to P13,960 for phase two tickets; P5,935 to P15,030 for phase three tickets; and P6,470 to P16,100 for standard tickets.
The festival also offers limited two-day wanderbuddies that cost P29,475 for a regular wanderer ticket and P53,550 for a star (VIP) wanderer ticket.
The perks of a star (VIP) wanderer holder are access to the express entrance lane, express merchandise lane, exclusive viewing deck, VIP toilets, private bar, an exclusive star wanderer kit, and two free drinks.
