ANOTHER Filipino boy group has carved its name to the global pop industry.
Fruits of hard work upon the rigorous and extensive training in South Korea has been witnessed by thousands of Filo ANCHORs, as HORI7ON successfully concluded their ‘Friend-SHIP’ Voyage To Manila’ show, their first-ever Philippine concert 47 days after their world stage debut in July.
The septet composed of Vinci, Kyler, Reyster, Kim, Winston, Jeromy, and Marcus, heat up the stage upon their opening performances featuring their song ‘Meteor’, ‘Dash’, and ‘Tiger’.
Fans were also thrilled and got excited as they performed their 21-track debut album ‘Friend-SHIP’, including their lead single ‘SIX7EEN’ as the group finally performed it on the Philippine stage.
Aside from group performance, the boy group also amused fans with their solo shows such as Marcus’ ‘Light Way’, Winston’s ‘Teum’, Jeromy’s ‘Bonnie & Clyde’, Vinci’s ‘Ready to Burn’, Kyler’s ‘Silhouette’, Kim’s ‘Like a fiction’, and Reyster’s ‘Cost’.
The Filo boy band also entertained their fans by staging some popular KPop hits such as ‘S Class’ by Stray Kids, ‘Sugar Rush Ride’ by TXT, ‘Drunk Days’ by Enhypen, ‘Super’ by Seventeen, ‘Fast Forward’ by Jeon Somi, and ‘ETA’ of New Jeans.
HORI7ON also hyped their fans as they sang and grooved with SB19’s hit song, ‘Gento’.
The Filipino boy band didn’t fail to bring their fans with surprises, as some special guests are also present in their concert such as the alumni from ‘Dream Maker’ to which their roots started, Haeun of KPop girl group Lapillus who joined Marcus and Jeromy on their ‘How You Feel’ performance, and Leo and Noa of South Korean-Japanese band, TFN.
After getting the crowd wild, the members also serenade their mothers with the song ‘Mama’, and fans with ‘Salamat’ which was the only Filipino song in their tracks.
New boy group under MLD Entertainment named New:ID was also introduced in HORI7ON’s show, consisting of their fellow ‘Dream Maker’ contestants such as Aceron, Sune, Tuason, Buday, and Labing-isa, performing their pre-debut single titled ‘E.R’.
ANCHORs also surprised the global pop group with a video message, as well as congratulatory cakes and flowers.
“I really want to say thank you all for coming today…To be honest, when we were still in Korea, I was super worried for this concert because I thought that not a lot of people would come because we just debuted. I didn’t expect so many people to be here tonight so I’m grateful,” Marcus said to ANCHORs.
