HORI7ON to drop new song at November concert

ANCHORS, this is a reminder that you are only a month left from the second concert of your favorite idols, HORI7ON!

Excitement is in the air but the all-Filipino global boy group made sure to level it up, as they announced that they will be dropping a new song that will showcase the members’ different persona.

HORI7ON—composed of Vinci, Kim, Kyler, Reyster, Winston, Jeromy, and Marcus—said they will release the song at their “Daytour: Anchor High” concert on November 3 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

MLD Entertainment, the group’s agency, said the new song will showcase the septet’s “more mature image,” veering away from their previous youthful concept.

“This new track stands out with its hip-hop beat and powerful rap lines, representing a shift away from the group’s boyish image and embracing the coming-of-age transformation of the seven boys, showcasing their surprising charms,” the agency said.

While the title has yet to be revealed, the boys already gave a teaser of their song by grooving to its hip-hop beat.

The forthcoming song comes just three months after they released their latest single “Sumayaw, Sumunod,” their rendition of the iconic song of the same name by legendary Filipino band The Boyfriends in 1978.

Fans’ reactions

This leveled up the excitement of many Anchors who couldn’t wait to see their new concept.

“Not Vinci teasing us by slightly lifting up his shirt, you do not! [Anyway], excited for this new concept,” one fan commented on HORI7ON’s TikTok clip.

“Hoy ano ‘to? Maangas era na ng HORI7ON,” another Anchor said.

“Dark concept na ba this,” a TikTok user, meanwhile, reacted.

However, HORI7ON seems to have another surprise for their fans, with Marcus teasing, “Is that the last surprise??? Who knows..”

‘Daytour: Anchor High’

HORI7ON first announced their “Daytour: Anchor High” at a musical event organized by a popular health and beauty care chain, which gathered several P-pop groups including ALAMAT, KAIA, G22, and “P-pop Kings” SB19.

Ticket selling for the group’s second concert began on September 29, with prices ranging from P3,000 to P9,500.

There are also fan benefits including a stationary set and a souvenir card for all ticket tiers.

Additionally, HORI7ON will hold a special stamp event benefit on the concert date, where several lucky Anchors will have the chance to meet the septet backstage.
