AS the years went on, society slowly progressed toward being accepting and loving toward the LGBTQI+ community, and with this–prejudice against the community became unacceptable.
However, despite the efforts to push back against prejudice–some people still find a way to pull down and inflict harm on those who are defenseless.
A video on TikTok recently went viral after a guard exclaimed a homophobic slur towards two friends in the arcade.
The friends were just shooting the ball on the basketball ring. When the other friend was about to spike the ball, a guard came by and said “bawal yan, bakla ka.”

The friend later came to his friend’s defense asking if it was necessary to call them that because they already knew what they were.
The content creator made a story about how things unfolded in a separate TikTok video.

According to the content creator when Alexa (the other friend) was about to spike the ball, the guard called them out–saying, “hoy huwag mong ganyanin yan, bakla ka.”
The friend later came to their friend’s defense and asked what his problem was with his friend being gay.
The guard later said that he was just telling the truth. This angered Alexa’s friend asking why the guard has to push the fact that they’re gay.
Upon seeing the video, many Netizens commented on how they should report the incident to the management.
After the incident, the two friends later reported the situation in a separate TikTok video.
