ACTRESS and socialite Heart Evangelista couldn’t help but shed tears as she shared her realizations in life in a YouTube vlog with husband and Senator Chiz Escudero.
The episode called Adulting With Heart and Chiz provided the audience with a candid and heartfelt snippet of the couple’s rollercoaster journey filled with lessons from their relationship.
It began with Evangelista’s confession that she couldn’t imagine a life without Escudero.
“Mawala na lahat, ‘wag ka lang,” Evangelista said.
Further, the couple also expressed their profound realizations about the value of their family and marriage.
Evangelista said that while she enjoys the grandeur of life, she believes there is nothing more important to her than her family.
“But I always pray that just as long as I have my family, I’m okay,” she said. “No matter what you do in life or what you go through, you always go back to your family because they know your heart.”
Filled with emotions, she also said she would always pray that her family would not be taken away from her.
“Give them good health and protect them, ‘yun lang. I don’t need anything else,” she said.
Evangelista became more sentimental as she recalled an instance when Escudero told her to prepare herself when the time came that he was no longer in this world.
But the actress-model emphasized that she doesn’t think she could ever be prepared for such an unfortunate circumstance.
“I cannot. Like this world is so cruel. You cannot leave. And I thought you were my enemy for the longest time. But oh my God, I don’t know how to live without you,” Evangelista told Escudero.
