Gloc-9, Ramdiss, Hero to headline Spotify’s KALYE X Manila

After the successful concert legs in Cebu and Davao, Spotify’s KALYE X concert series is now heading to its grand finale in Manila happening on October 28. 

For its final leg, hip-hop legend Gloc-9, along with rising lyricist Ramdiss and flow master Hero, will headline the highly anticipated hip-hop concert. 

The three is set to unveil the final track of the first-ever original Filipino hip-hop Singles on Spotify as part of Kalye X. 

Kalye X is the latest initiative of Spotify that aims to showcase the unique flavor, depth, and diversity of Pinoy Hip-hop. 

As part of the initiative, Spotify tapped various uprising and established hip-hop artists across the country to release a series of Spotify Singles from August to October. 

Last August, the Kalye X concert series kicked off in Cebu where Bisaya royalties Midnasty and Cookie$ unveiled their Spotify Single ‘Wa Na Wa.’

The second leg of the concert series was held in Davao in September, with Mindanao-raised hip-hop collective Morobeats and their hit ‘Kendeng’ igniting the Mindanaon hip-hop scene. 

Hip-hop celebration

In partnership with Wish 107.5, Spotify’s KALYE X Manila concert is set to rock Circuit Event Grounds Makati on 28 October 2023 (Saturday). 

Concert entrance is absolutely free! 

To join the hip-hop celebration, you must be 18 years old and above, and have the following: 

1. pre-registration QR code
2. a Spotify account
3. a valid photo ID with your birthdate.

Gates will open at 4:00 PM for Spotify Premium users, giving them an exclusive sneak peek at the artist soundcheck, while free users can start entering the venue at 5:30 PM. 

The night promises exciting performances by Gloc-9, Hero, and Ramdiss, plus a line-up of other activities such as Kalye City Xypher (16 Bars Challenge) hosted by Rekta sa Kalye, Live Graffiti by Trip63, a meet and greet opportunity with featured artists (for Spotify Premium users only). 

There will also be exclusive KALYE X merch giveaways to 10 lucky winners during the event!
