FROM getting followed on TikTok, Filipina content creator Niana Guerrero had the opportunity to personally meet J-Hope of K-pop powerhouse BTS during his sold-out concert in the Philippines.
Niana posed for a photo with J-Hope on her Instagram story, tagging the K-pop superstar. The “MONA LISA” singer reshared the photo on his Instagram story, along with the caption, “Ay!!! Niana here!!! Finally we met!”
The content creator attended the second day of J-Hope’s “Hope on the Stage” concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. In several videos shared by netizens, Niana was seen interacting with Filo ARMY from her seat at the concert.
J-Hope and Niana made headlines in February when the former followed the latter on TikTok. At the time, the dancer and rapper only had five accounts on his following list, including his group’s official TikTok page and his co-member, Jung Kook.
Jung Kook, BTS’ vocalist and youngest member (maknae), also follows Niana on the social media platform.
Niana and J-Hope have been interacting on social media, with J-Hope recently reposting Niana’s dance cover of his song “MONA LISA” on his Instagram story. He also commented on her dance cover with wow and fire emojis.
The two also had a virtual dance duet on TikTok, vibing to Don Toliver’s “LV Bag,” featuring J-Hope.
Several netizens are now looking forward to J-Hope and Niana’s TikTok dance after their meetup.
J-Hope arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Friday, ahead of the Manila leg of his “Hope on the Stage” tour.
He is the first BTS member to return to the Philippines since the K-pop boy group’s “Wings” tour in May 2017 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Among the one-for-the-books moments during J-Hope’s Manila concert was his close interaction with some lucky Filo ARMY, his nostalgic “Mic Drop” performance as fans shouted the BTS’ OT7 fanchant, and a fan project where Filo ARMY lit the crowd with Philippine flag colors (blue, red, white, and yellow).
Surprisingly, actor Im Si-wan, known for his roles in hit Korean series “Summer Strike,” “Strangers From Hell,” and “Run On,” was also in the Philippines to attend the first day of the “Hope on the Stage” concert.
On X (formerly Twitter), J-Hope posted several photos from his Manila concert, thanking his Filipino fans for attending the event.
“Today felt like Sweet Dreams,” he wrote as per English translation. “Mahal ko kayo.”
