FILIPINA drag queen Marina Summers made it to the finale of”RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs the World” Season 2.
The five remaining queens were asked to perform a comedy entitled “Michelle and Graham Haters Wedding Roast.”
Marina immediately got positive critiques, however Tia Kofi and Hannah Conda were voted the top queens of the week.
“There was a confidence there. You know, there were times when you faltered but, you know, if you were to get a second chance, I could tell that you would nail it,” RuPaul said in the seventh episode of the show.
Tia and Hannah made a lip sync battle to “Euphoria” by Loreen to which te latter finally got her badge.
Hannah chose Scarlet Envy to go home in 5th place, as Marina and La Grande Dame entered the finals.
Marina is the first drag queen from the Philippine franchise who competed in an international edition of the hit reality competition.
She took runner-up honors to Precious Paula Nicole in “Drag Race Philippines” Season 1 aired in 2022.
“Drag Race Philippines” has been renewed for a third season along with the Thai and French franchise.
