Deadpool & Wolverine: Are there any major cameos?

IN the world of superhero films, where capes and heroics frequently take center stage, Deadpool debuted as a breath of fresh air, defying conventions and gaining the hearts of millions of viewers across the world. 

“Deadpool” is more than simply a film; it’s a tribute to the power of irreverence, wit, and honesty in storytelling. This year, the film will release its third version, “Deadpool & Wolverine.”

The film is slated to be released in theaters globally on July 26, 2024. Marvel has previously released the first trailer for the film, hunting the possibility of additional Marvel and X-Men cameos.

One returning Deadpool and Wolverine actor has hinted at the prospect of additional Marvel and X-Men cameos in the future Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) production. 

The first trailer for Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine, published in February 2024, reveals fresh information regarding Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s MCU debuts. 

Both will portray their former roles, Wade Wilson’s Deadpool and James “Logan” Howlett’s Wolverine from Fox’s X-Men Universe. 

Deadpool & Wolverine will permanently introduce the titular Merc-with-a-Mouth to the MCU, where he will be joined by other interesting characters from 20th Century Fox’s prior Marvel film franchise.

Who can we expect?

Deadpool and Wolverine returning characters has been established for some time. This includes Deadpool franchise regulars Stefan Kapicié as Colossus, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio, and Morena Baccarin as Vanessa. 

Shatterstar and Peter from Deadpool 2 have been confirmed to return in the third installment, played by Lewis Tan and Rob Delaney, respectively. 

However, Deadpool and Wolverine will appear to be joined by even more skilled individuals, as the “Deadpool & Wolverine” trailer confirmed Aaron Stanford’s return as Pyro.

Aside from that, The Hollywood Reporter already revealed Jennifer Garner’s comeback as Elektra Natchios from 20th Century Fox’s Daredevil and Elektra films in the 2000s, following a 20-year absence.

With Garner reprising her role as Elektra, fans can’t help but wonder if Ben Affleck, who plays Daredevil in Deadpool & Wolverine, will make a cameo appearance.

Aside from the aforementioned, other well-known figures will feature in Deadpool & Wolverine, prompting conjecture about who may appear in the MCU’s Phase 5. 

At this point, Fox’s entire X-Men series might return, including Patrick Stewart’s Professor X, Halle Berry’s Storm, and James Marsden’s Cyclops. 

Some of the names named above are only believed to appear in the film, while others are verified. I mean anybody can be there, given that Deadpool 3 will explore the importance of TVA in the MCU as well.

The only way to find out which cameo will appear is when the highly anticipated film hits theaters in July 2024.
