WITH a limited banking schedule till the end of the year due to Christmas andNew Year, republicasia compiled a list of major banks and their operating days as not all will be able to service their customers.
Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI):
All branches will be closed on December 24, 25, 30, and 31, 2024, and on January 1, 2025.
However, there will be a select branch that will remain open but only until 2 p.m. on December 24 and December 31.

China Banking Corp. (Chinabank)
Chinabank on the other hand will have select branches that are open on December 24 and 31, 2024

Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP)
Their branches will be closed on December 24 and 25, 2024, meaning their regular banking services will resume on December 26, 2024.
Land Bank of the Philippines
The state-run bank on the other hand will be closed December 24, 25, 30, and 31, 2024, and January 1, 2025.
Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank)
Select branches will be closed or have adjusted banking hours on December 24, 25, 30, and 31, 2024, and January 1, 2025.

Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC)
RCBC on the other hand will have all branches closed on December 24, 25, 30, and 31, 2024, and January 1, 2025.
It will be recalled that Malacañang had earlier declared December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 as special non-working days.
December 25 (Christmas Day) and December 30 (Rizal Day) are regular holidays, as well as January 1, 2025 (New Year’s Day).
