Cedrick Juan, Kate Alejandrino tie the knot

JUST a week after announcing their engagement, award-winning actor Cedrick Juan and Lavender Fields star Kate Alejandrino have officially tied the knot. 

Juan, widely recognized for his lead role in the historical film GomBurZa, shared a glimpse of his wedding through an Instagram story on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

Many of the couple’s friends were in attendance. Some of them, like actress Gabby Padilla, also shared some snapshots of the intimate garden wedding. 

In photos, Alejandrino appeared in a minimalist white gown with a sweetheart neckline. 

Juan first announced his engagement to Kate on February 19, sharing a photo of their engagement ring alongside a heartfelt post.

“Isang pangarap… Pangarap na nagsimula sa pagpapanumbalik ng iyong tunay na ngiti na naguugat sa kaluluwa, isip, puso at mga mata. Ito ang layunin ko simula noong unang araw na tayo’y nagsimula,” he wrote. 

“Mahal, Mahal na mahal kita at pipiliin ka araw-araw Kaitin.”

Juan and Alejandrino’s love story first gained public attention on October 29, 2024, when Juan posted a solo photo of Alejandrino with the caption, “When words fail, our eyes speak.” 

They later confirmed their relationship on Instagram on January 1, 2025.

Juan is best known as the recipient of the Best Actor award at the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival for his starring role in GomBurZa. He also appeared in other films like Die Beautiful, The Panti Sisters, and just recently, The Kingdom. 

Meanwhile, Alejandrino has appeared in both films and theater projects such as Ten Little Mistresses, Ang Pangarap Kong Oskars, and Bula sa Langit.
