Buy books for as low as P10 in this book fair in Cubao

IT is time to start shopping for Christmas, bookworms!

Bookstore chain National Book Store (NBS) is set to hold its “Sulit Reads Christmas Book Fair,” where bibliophiles can buy books for as low as P10.

The NBS said that the upcoming book fair will be its “biggest book sale event ever.”

It will be held at the Quantum Skyview, Gateway Mall 2 in Cubao, Quezon City from November 17 to 19, beginning from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Admission to the event is free, but booklovers will still have to register through this link.

What to expect

Bibliophiles can also get buy one, take one deals, flash sales, and discounts of up to 80 percent off on several titles in the book fair.

A lucky bookworm will also receive an early Christmas gift from the NBS, as it will give them a chance to take home a number of books for free for a limited time.

The bookstore chain will be having a “Book Hakot” raffle, where the selected winner can grab all titles they want for 60 seconds.

Book lovers, meanwhile, said they are thrilled to attend the book fair. One of them commented on the NBS’ Facebook post and said that he has been preparing for the upcoming event.

More book sale

Aside from the “Sulit Reads Christmas Book Fair,” the bookstore chain will also be taking several of its bestselling books, Manga, and graphic novels to the Manila Pop Culture Convention (ManiPopCon). It will be held from November 17 to 19.

The NBS said that it will offer up to 20 percent discount on selected titles from different genres, including “Heartstopper,” “Superman,” “One Piece,” “Spy x Family,” “My Happy Marriage,” and “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?” among others.

Bookworms will also get to enjoy some event-exclusive titles for only P199, it added.

The bookstore chain’s booth will be located at Japan Town, 4th floor, Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
