THE military enlistment of BTS members Jimin, RM, Jung Kook, and V had been confirmed by the BIGHIT music on the statement they released.
In a statement written by BTS’ music label, they confirmed how the four members have initiated the enlistment process. “We would like to inform our fans that RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook initiated the military process.”
They also wrote that the artists are now preparing to fulfill their military service.
Meanwhile, upon releasing the statement, the music label didn’t give out an exact date on when the idols will be entering the military. They instead stated they will inform the fan for further updates in the due course.
The boyband is currently undergoing a hiatus due to the requirement of military services that needs to be fulfilled by its citizens. Meanwhile, BTS members Jin, SUGA, and J-Hope are currently serving in the military.
Jin—the oldest member of the boy band joined the military in December of 2022. This was later followed by J-Hope who joined in April and SUGA in September.
Despite the temporary disband, all BTS have renewed their contracts with their music label BIGHIT in September. The group is expected to come together as a group in 2025.
