Blackpink’s Jisoo Thanks Filipino Blinks for Fan Meet

FRESH off a successful solo fan meet in Manila, Philippines, Blackpink Jisoo took to social media to thank Filipino Blinks for their overwhelming support. 

The South Korean Pop Superstar shared snapshots from Lights, Love, Action— her highly anticipated tour in Asia. 

In the Philippines, the event was held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Friday night, March 14, 2025. 

“Happy to [start] with big cheers of BLINK Manila!” Jisoo captioned her post. “So grateful, you made me lovely!”

“Mahal ko kayo, XOXO,” she added. 

Amortage, released on February 14 of this year, is Jisoo’s first extended play (EP), marking her first solo project after departing YG Entertainment. While the specific reasons for her decision were not publicly disclosed, it is known that she, along with fellow BLACKPINK members Jennie and Lisa, chose not to renew their individual contracts with the agency.

Upon leaving YG Entertainment, Jisoo’s next move was establishing her own label, Blisoo, in February 2024. 

Her current album includes tracks like Earthquake, Your Love, Tears, and Hugs & Kisses, showcasing a new side of the singer’s artistry.

In addition to her musical pursuits, Jisoo has expanded her acting career. She starred in the zombie thriller series Newtopia and is set to appear in the upcoming drama Boyfriend on Demand, further solidifying her status as a versatile entertainer.

With the resounding success of her Manila fan meet, Filipino Blinks are hopeful that Jisoo will return soon for more performances and engagements.
