ACCORDING to a local ministry, BINI’s song “Salamin, Salamin” is all about witchcraft. But is it really?
Currently trending on Facebook and X (formerly Twitter), the topic of BINI’s song “Salamin, Salamin” allegedly being witchcraft is being discussed by netizens on these platforms.
According to the ministry group’s Facebook post, BINI’s song is said to be a song for witches. The account shared a screenshot of Viiivi James’ book titled “Mirror Magic (Scrying, Spells, Curses and Other Witch Crafts)” and a screenshot of “Salamin, Salamin” being translated from English to Tagalog.
“Ang pakikinig sa mga makamundong musika ay kadalasang maglalayo sa atin mula sa ating spiritual at moral values,” they wrote on the post.
“Itong “Salamin Salamin” yung sinayaw sa church pero no problem. KJ, Religious, OA, legalist pa yung nangrebuke at nagadvise. Di po yan KJ pagmamahal po yan. Salamin, Salamin is a Witchcraft song..Please wake up church!” they said.
As of writing, Follow Jesus Ministry’s post has reached 6.3k reactions with over 1.1k comments from netizens pointing out how ridiculous their theory was.
The comment section has been flooded with netizens saying how the local church group was overreacting based on simple song lyrics that they believed to be part of witchcraft.
