BINI Sheena’s Story to Be Featured on MMK Limited Series

Blooms, get your tissues ready—Sheena Catacutan of BINI will be the focus of an upcoming Maalala Mo Kaya episode, as the beloved drama anthology returns with a limited series hosted by Charo Santos-Concio.

After over 30 years of telling powerful, real-life Filipino stories, MMK is back with a fresh new format as a limited series on iWantTFC. 

The highly anticipated premiere is set for April 24 (Thursday), streaming 48 hours in advance exclusively on iWantTFC. 

The limited series will consist of n 13 captivating over 13 weeks, with each installment featuring a special director’s cut, offering bolder storytelling and emotionally raw, unfiltered moments.

Last year, former MMK host Charo Santos-Concio hinted at the possibility of reviving the iconic drama anthology to highlight the inspiring stories of P-pop girl group BINI.

This idea came after Charo attended one of BINI’s recent concerts with her granddaughters, who are fans of the group.

Impressed by the members’ dedication and resilience, she went backstage to personally congratulate them.

“I want to congratulate you for your hard work, patience, your perseverance. I watched your story,” she said to them on an Instagram post. 

In addition to Sheena, the upcoming MMK series will also feature the inspiring story of Sofronio Vasquez III, the Filipino champion of The Voice USA Season 26.
