BINI leads 9th PPOP Music Awards winners

ONLY a few days left before 2024 ends but BINI, the nation’s girl group, is not yet done growing its extensive record of achievements.

The latest addition to its long list of accolades is the awards they won at the PPOP Music Awards 2024, held at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City on the weekend.

The eight-member girl group—composed of Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Gwen, Maloi, Mikha, Sheena, and Stacey—bagged the most number of awards at the event, including Artist of the Year.

They also won Song of the Year for “Pantropiko,” which exudes the feeling of falling in love in summer, and Album of the Year for their diary-inspired extended play (EP) “Talaarawan.”

BINI’s fans, a.k.a BLOOMs, also bagged the Fandom of the Year award.

BLOOM Philippines, BINI’s pioneer Philippine fanbase, expressed gratitude to the award-giving body for the awards the girls and their fans received.

Several BINI members also thanked BLOOMs for their love and support, with Gwen saying it was the “best Christmas gift” for her.
