Bb. Pilipinas sends off Anna Lakrini for Miss Globe pageant

The Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) expressed its well wishes to Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2023 Anna Lakrini, as it held a send-off event for the beauty queen prior to the upcoming Miss Globe 2023 pageant.

The send-off event was held at the Quantum Skyview of the New Gateway Mall 2 in Quezon City on October 18, which was attended by Lakrini’s family, friends, and supporters.

Her fellow Binibining Pilipinas beauty queens—Binibining Pilipinas International 2023 Angelica Lopez, Binibining Pilipinas 2023 1st runner-up Katrina Anne Johnson, and Binibining Pilipinas 2023 2nd runner-up Atasha Reign Parani—were also at the event.

During the send-off, the Filipina-German beauty queen thanked those who came and showed their support.

“I’m so happy that so many of you came. I was expecting, actually, nothing and I was so surprised that so many of you took the time to be here,” Lakrini said.

“I’m really blessed. Thank you so much for coming,” she added.

The BPCI also shared on Facebook a few photos of Lakrini donning a dazzling blue gown.

“Best of luck Anna. We will always be with you in your journey to bring home the Miss Globe crown,” it said.

Filipino pageant fans commented on the BPCI’s post and said that they are rooting for the 25-year-old beauty queen to bring home the crown.

The Miss Globe 2023 pageant will be held on November 17 in Albania. 

Lakrini, who advocates for accessible and affordable nutrition, will vie for the Philippines’ third Miss Globe crown. 

The last time the country took home the title was during the reign of Maureen Montagne in 2021.
