Aspiring beauty queens may now apply for Binibining Pilipinas 2025 pageant

DO you have what it takes to be a beauty queen and represent the country globally? This is your chance to prove it!

On Wednesday, Binibining Pilipinas opened its applications for a new set of beauty queens participating in its upcoming 2025 pageant.

“The search is on for the next Binibining Pilipinas queens!” organizers of the longest-running national beauty competition said.

“For 61 years, Binibining Pilipinas has crowned icons, empowered voices, and set the stage for greatness. Will you be the next Binibini to wear the crown?” it asked.

Pageant hopefuls may download the application form at the Binibining Pilipinas’ website

It will be submitted via email to BPCI@aranetagroup.com or personally delivered to the Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) office in Quezon City and look for Mr. Gines Enriquez.

Qualifications, requirements

The prestigious national beauty pageant is open to natural-born Filipino citizens or those who reacquired their Philippine citizenship under Republic Act No. 9225. They may or may not be residing in the Philippines.

Aspiring Binibining Pilipinas queens are required to show a copy of their high school or college diploma, a medical certificate for both physical and mental health and well-being, and a certificate of good moral character issued by a school, church, or professional organization.

They also need to present two photographs: one close-up and one full-body shot. A copy of the birth certificate is also needed.

The deadline for submission of the accomplished forms and other required documents is on March 21, 2025. Details for the final screening schedule have yet to be announced.

About Binibining Pilipinas

Binibining Pilipinas is a key instrument in shaping the Philippines as one of the beauty pageant powerhouses, producing notable and beloved beauty queens since its establishment in 1964.

Among them are the four Miss Universe titleholders: Catriona Gray (2018), Pia Wurtzbach (2015), Margie Moran (1973), and Gloria Diaz (1969).

The BPCI held the Miss Universe franchise for 55 years before it was transferred to Miss Universe Philippines, now headed by Miss Universe 2013 third runner-up Ariella Arida. She is also a Binibining Pilipinas queen.

The organization also produced the first Filipina to win the Miss Supranational crown, Mutya Datul.

Winners in the Binibining Pilipinas 2025 pageant will succeed Binibining Pilipinas International 2024 Myrna Esguerra of Abra and Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2024 Jasmin Bungay of Pampanga.

Bungay finished second runner-up in the Miss Globe 2024 pageant.
