Ariana Grande wants to return to the Philippines–praising Filipinos for their best attitudes and talents

HEADS up Filipino Arianators! Ariana Grande might visit the country soon!

In the interview with Unang Hirit’s Lyn Ching-Pascual, Arianna Grande revealed that she is keen to perform in the Philippines again—pointing out Filipinos for being fun and for their singing talent.

Grande’s statement was made during her interview to promote her upcoming film Wicked with Cynthia Erivo.

In a series of Instagram stories, Lyn recounted Ariana’s sentiments, saying, “Ang ganda ng mga sinabi niya about the Philippines, and Cynthia said she also wants to go to the Philippines because magaganda ‘yung mga sinasabi ni Ariana sa kanya tungkol sa ating bansa.”

The host added that Ariana commented that Filipinos have the best singers.

Lyn then pointed out that it’s been a long time since Ariana visited the Philippines and the pop singer said she wanted to go back. The last time she performed in the country was at the Mall of Asia Area for her “Dangerous Woman Tour” in 2017 and in 2015 for her “The Honeymoon Tour.”

Wicked Part One is set to open in local cinemas on November 20. Meanwhile, its second part is scheduled to arrive in theaters in 2025.

The story centers around Elphaba, a green-skinned young woman who has yet to discover her true power and Glinda, a popular young woman who is privileged and ambitious who has yet to discover her true heart.
