Are you ‘Ready for It’? Taylor Swift’s exhibit comes to Manila

SWIFTIES, this is your time to shine!

Spotify’s ‘Taylor Swift Musical Eras’ exhibit is about to make the whole place shimmer as it lands in Manila from February 21 to 23.

In a cryptic Facebook post, Spotify dropped some major breadcrumbs:

“An official Spotify artist exhibition that’s been a long time coming. Manila, any guesses whose catalog we will be exploring?” said the post, featuring a color palette akin to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.

With a color scheme that screams Eras vibes, Swifties were quick to put two and two together and filled the comment section with excitement.

Meanwhile, T-Party Philippines—a local group of Taylor Swift fans known for organizing Swift-themed events in the country—officially confirmed on their Facebook page that the upcoming exhibit will focus on Taylor Swift’s Musical Eras.

“Spotify will be having an official Taylor Swift exhibit in Manila from 21-23 February,” they announced, adding, “It’s been a long time coming”—a nod to a lyric from Taylor Swift’s Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince.

Both Spotify and T-Party Philippines were quick to remind that the artist will not be in attendance during the exhibit.

Important details such as the venue, ticket processes and exhibit inclusions are yet to be revealed.

Although this will be the first official Taylor Swift musical exhibition in the Philippines, Spotify has previously held similar exhibits featuring Taylor Swift in other countries.

Last year, Spotify hosted a library-themed installation at The Grove in Los Angeles to celebrate the release of Taylor Swift’s 11th album, The Tortured Poet’s Department.

In the span of three days, they showcased an open-air poetry library, carefully curated to reflect the themes of Swift’s new album. Each day, Spotify revealed lyrics from The Tortured Poet’s Department, creating an ever-evolving experience for visitors to immerse themselves in.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming musical exhibit in the Philippines, as it will not only spotlight Swift’s latest album but also celebrate her entire musical catalog.
