Airline mounts ‘Taylor Swift’s 1989’ themed flights ahead of Eras Tour in Singapore

HEADS UP Swifties!  You can now see Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour through a selected airline flight from Manila to Singapore.  

Taylor Swift is set to have her Era’s Tour on March 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 in Singapore. Singapore is the only country for her Southeast Asian stop and many Filipino swifties are expected to fly in the country to see her perform. 

Last Thursday, Cebu Pacific launched its selected “Taylor Swift” flights from Manila to Singapore, where one of its flights had a number change from the original ‘5J 813’ to ‘5J 1989.’ 

The new flight number represents the artist’s birth year and the name of one of her albums. 

The fun isn’t only limited to the change of numbers as the airline had also mentioned that travelers will also experience a memorable trip through Taylor Swift-themed activities. According to them, “the Cebu Pacific is gearing up more exciting activities on select flights making ever Swiftie’s wildest dreams come true.” 

The Manila to Singapore is set to operate at 5:25 am from March 1 to 9, 2024.  

The airline had also mentioned that the passengers who already bought the ticket would receive a notification in their email about the flight number change. They had also assured that their original flight schedule would not be affected. 

The tickets can be availed through Cebu Pacific’s mobile app. The ticket flight is said to be cost from P16,000 to nearly P30,000 one-way.
