THE K-pop girl group aespa has set a new trend by announcing that a version of their forthcoming full-length album, “Armageddon” will include a portable CD player, a first for a K-pop group.
On their X (formerly Twitter) official page, the four-member group revealed that their highly anticipated album will have a distinctive CD player version (CDP ver.) that is scheduled for release on July 19.
This exclusive version includes the portable CD player, the CD with all 10 songs of the album, 5 photo cards, 10 highlight medley stickers (which can be used to decorate the CD player), and a lyric paper.
Dedicated fans of the group, MYs, couldn’t contain their excitement and took to X to express their anticipation, “This might be their most insane physical album ever,” one fan on X said.

The group, composed of members, Katrina, Winter, NingNing, and Giselle, is gearing up for a comeback and album release on May 27.
Among the tracks on the album is, “Supernova”, a pre-release track that has already been released last May 13. The title track, which shares the album name, “Armageddon”, will drop on the group’s comeback date.
