‘A dream turned reality:’ BINI hits 1 billion all-time streams on Spotify

EIGHT-MEMBER girl group BINI continues to make headlines in the local music industry, achieving yet another milestone in its already successful music career.

On Thursday, the Nation’s Girl Group announced that it reached one billion all-time streams on music streaming platform Spotify, making hashtag “#BINI1BillionSpotifyStreams” topped the list of Philippine trends on X (formerly Twitter).

“A dream turned reality, and it’s all thanks to YOU. Your love has fueled every step of this journey,” BINI wrote on X.

Star Music, the girl group’s label, also shared the good news on the social media platform, noting that BINI is the “first Filipino girl group to reach the milestone.”

“And we did that while celebrating Women’s Month,” it added.

BINI’s fans, collectively known as BLOOMs, congratulated their idols on their achievement, saying they deserved it because they worked hard.

BINI is the second Filipina act to hit one billion streams on Spotify, following singer-songwriter Moira Dela Torre. The 31-year-old singer already reached two billion streams on Spotify in 2024, making her the first Filipina singer to achieve the milestone.

This Women’s Month, BINI teamed up with Latin pop star Belinda for “Blink Twice (Dos Veces Remix). The song’s original version was part of the girl group’s second extended play (EP), “BINIverse,” released on February 27.

The beloved octet will also hold “MINIverse,” a special fan meet for young BLOOMs aged 3 to 12. The event is scheduled for April 27 at Space in One Ayala, Makati City. 

Ticket prices for the fan meet range from P2,500 for Regular C to P5,000 for SVIP (inclusive of a “MINIverse tote bag, “MINIverse” passport, and access to the Hi Bye session).

This comes before BINI continues its “BINIverse” world tour in Dubai in May. It kicked off at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan in February 2025.
