And because we are still in the rainy season, here are seven upcoming Korean dramas you can watch this month while curled up under a warm blanket.

Based on a popular webtoon National Death Penalty Vote, The Killing Vote is a dystopian drama where notorious criminals are subjected to receiving the death penalty based on the votes cast by citizens through a text polling system.
Upon receiving at least 50% of the votes in favor of capital punishment, an unknown killer called “Dog Mask” will be out to haunt the voted criminal and execute the death sentence.
The Killing Vote will be available starting August 10 and is expected to have 12 episodes.

Also called Cruel Mrs. Ae Ran, the comedy drama Cold-Blooded Intern narrates the story of a woman in her 40s who wants to get back in the workforce after spending seven years raising her child.
After going for an interview at the “Market House,” she meets an old colleague who would offer her an internship position, and she is set to endure a grueling job and survive the jungle-like society again.
The series will air on August 11 and will have 12 episodes.

Based on a webtoon of the same title, Mask Girl delves into the story of an ordinary office worker who has always dreamed of becoming a performer.
After her day job, she puts on a mask and starts a live broadcast, performing in front of her virtual audience. But her life takes an unexpected turn as she confronts a chain of ill-fated events.
Mask Girl will premiere on Netflix on August 18 with seven episodes.

The fantasy drama Destined With You depicts an inescapable romance between a competent lawyer and an ordinary civil worker.
While the lawyer has everything one could ever desire in life, he suffers from a family curse that only a civil worker could break.
The series will air on August 23.

Behind Your Touch is a comedy-thriller drama that features a veterinary surgeon with a special ability — she can see the past of any living creature she touches.
She later joins an ill-tempered detective in solving crimes in a small town while irresistibly falling in love with each other.
The series premieres on Netflix on August 12.

This superhero action-drama is hailed as one of the most expensive Korean productions of all time, with a budget amounting to 65 billion won (US$51 million).
Based on a webtoon of the same name, Moving revolves around the adventures of three high school students who have inherited special abilities from their parents, which include the ability to fly, excellent athletic skills, the ability to rapidly recover from injuries, and uncanny power and speed.
While attempting to hide their abilities from the public, their parents struggle to keep them from being abused by others.
Moving will air on Disney+ on August 9.

The hair-raising suspense-action drama The First Responders is back for another season.
The First Responders Season 2 follows the misfortune of three emergency workers, one each from the police force, fire department, and paramedic squad, who team up to save people from death-defying situations.
