Trigger warning: mentions of animal abuse
A VIDEO from Cebu’s Carmen town recently went viral after puppies were shown inside a wild animals’ enclosure, while allegedly being fed to a snake and a monitor lizard.
According to initial information from a concerned citizen, the viral video was uploaded to a page that was said to be looking for puppies to be fed to the reptiles.
The concerned citizen later claimed how this had already happened many times.
The Carmen tourism office said that the video uploader has been identified and is being investigated. However, it remains unknown if the person is the owner of the video and if the incident happened in the town.
The Carmen tourism office stressed that they do not tolerate this kind of illegal activity.
