Comelec: 66 senatorial bets sure for 2025 BotoNgKabtaan

A TOTAL of 66 of the 183 senatorial aspirant that filed their candidacy for the #2025BotoNgKabataan were among the partial list of candidates for the midterm elections.

According to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) the list of Senate candidates was  agreed upon during the Comelec en banc session.

The poll body said that the number of candidates is more than the 54 who ran in 2022.

Among those who made the list is Kingdom of Jesus Christ founder and leader Apollo Quiboloy being the 52nd aspirant.

Also included were TV host Willie Revillame, actor Philip Salvador, and singer-lawyer Jimmy Bondoc also made it to the list.

Meanwhile, among those who failed to make the cut include Beth Lopez who vowed to curse the poll if she will not be allowed to run.

On the other hand, Daniel Magtira, who claims to be Imee Marcos’ fiancé as well as Nelson Ancajas, who said he filed his certificate of candidacy to highlight the medical case of his child also did not make it
