ZOE Gabriel, the viral TikTok Filipina teen who sparked an online debate over what “luxury” means, is collaborating with AirAsia for the budget airline’s social media content.
In AirAsia’s official TikTok account, the 17-year-old internet sensation can be seen dancing to a remix of a Taylor Swift song called I Think He Knows along with the airline’s cabin crew aboard a plane.
She was also featured in another clip wearing a flight attendant’s uniform as she showcased her moves through the song Boy’s a liar Pt.2 by Ice Spice and PinkPantheress. The video has accumulated over 1.1 million views with nearly 55,000 likes.
The third collaborative content showed Gabriel eating and rating inflight meals such as Pak Nasser’s Nasi Lemak, Bukhara Chicken Biryani, Thai Basil Chicken with rice, and Uncle Chin’s Chicken Rice.
Gabriel also posted an AirAsia content using her personal TikTok page. In the video, the teen gave her followers an overview of her AirAsia experience as she traveled with her family to Kuala Lumpur.
Gabriel is the Singapore-based teen who rose to fame in January after calling a black Charles & Keith tote bag a “luxury item.” Her video prompted some netizens on TikTok to raise their eyebrows and mock the teenager.

Despite receiving harsh criticisms, Gabrel remained kind toward her bullies. But she stood firm about redefining luxury and how its meaning varies to people from different class strata.

Days after the social media frenzy, the fashion house invited Gabriel and her dad for a tour in their headquarters. Charles and Keith also named Gabriel as one of its brand community ambassadors for the International Women’s Day.
