Carlos Yulo clinches vault silver, parallel bars bronze in world gymnastics tourney

MANILA, Philippines – Multi-awarded Filipino gymnast Carlos Edriel Yulo pulled off a silver finish in the men’s vault category and bronze for parallel bars at the 2022 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Liverpool, England on Monday (Manila time).

Armenia’s Artur Daytyan defeated Yulo for the gold medal,  with a score of 15.050, while Igor Radivilov of Ukraine got the bronze medal scoring 14.733.

After his vault event, Yulo scored 15.366 for parallel bars, getting the bronze medal. He competed with China’s three-time world champion Zou Jingyuan, who scored 16.166 and was hailed gold medalist in the category. Germany’s Lukas Dauser won the silver medal after scoring 15.500.
