NO more Rollin for Fearless fans as South Korean girl group Brave Girls announced its  disbandment, seven years after its debut in the entertainment industry.

According to the group’s label Brave Entertainment, all four members decided not to renew their contracts, which expired on Thursday, February 16.

Members Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna will officially wrap up all group-related activities before they go their separate ways after the release of their final single called Goodbye.

In addition, Brave Girl’s label also said the disbandment had been decided after an “ in-depth discussion over a long period of time.”

“We will not forget the support we have for each other, and [the members] will repay the fans’ love, each from their own place,” it said.

The company also thanked the members for their passionate work during the seven years of their musical career. It added that it will root for the members’ future solo activities.

“We are sincerely grateful to Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna, who worked passionately while sharing the joys and sorrows as Brave Girls for the past seven years, and we give them a big round of applause. We will always be cheering on the members’ future activities,” it said.

Brave Entertainment also thanked the fans, who are called Fearless, for the endless support and encouragement they extended to the group. Meanwhile, it hoped that the fans would not stop cheering for the girls despite the disbandment.

“We ask for your endless love and warm interest for Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna going forward,” it said.

The Brave Girls

The group first entered the entertainment industry in 2011 and was reorganized in 2016 with second-generation members Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, Yoona.

Brave Girls was said to be on the brink of disbandment in 2021 when it experienced a resurgence of its song Rollin, which was originally released in 2017.

The four members also joined the South Korean reality competition television show Queendom 2 but faltered against another Kpop girl group, WJSN.
