Actress Flora Gasser passes away

by Izel Abanilla

MANILA, Philippines – VETERAN television and movie comedian Flora Gasser passed away last Saturday and is scheduled for cremation today.

The actress’ granddaughter penned a heartwarming farewell message to her grandmother in a Facebook post as she informed about her cremation.

“Today is the last day my mom sees her mom, and me seeing my Lola,” Ocampo said.

“She will be turned into ashes and we will bring her back to our ancestral home. It is absolutely devastating to lose a parent/grandparent but at the same time, it’s comforting to know that she is in a better place and will be reunited with the love of her life,” she said.

“Rest well, Lola. Please say hi to Lolo for me,” she ended.
